Dr. Idell Mitchell is a native of Zachary, Louisiana. After attending undergrad at Northwestern State University of Louisiana, she went on to get her doctorate at Oklahoma College of Optometry. She later completed an ocular disease residency at the Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, binge watching reality tv, and keeping up with her toddler. She is excited to be back home serving her community.
